The Beacon Hill Hotel is located in Beacon Hill, a residential neighborhood with brick Federal-style homes. Some rooms overlook a terrace, while others offer views of Charles Street through flowerboxes on the balcony. One double room features air conditioning and one bed. Please note that specific bed type preferences cannot be guaranteed. Suites include a seating area, an en suite bathroom, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Ironing facilities and a sitting area are included. Note that extra beds cannot be accommodated in this room type. The penthouse features a living space with a large flatscreen TV, a custom light fixture, and a reading nook.

The dining room has been transformed into a neighborhood space serving European and American cuisine. The dining room features a menu of locally sourced ingredients, fresh meats and seafood, and fine wines and spirits. Bistro classics like Cape Cod mussels with kale marinated in white wine and garlic, and Atlantic haddock with local dug clams are available. The lobby bar features a fireplace.

Hampshire House, which houses the Bull & Finch Pub, also known as the bar in the 1980s TV program Cheers, is near the hotel.
