Boston Homestel offers private rooms and family rooms for two, three, or four people. Room options include mixed and female-only rooms. Rooms measure 13 square meters. Accommodations feature heating and access to a shared bathroom with a shower. Linens are provided; outside sheets, blankets, sleeping bags, and pillows are not allowed.

Guests have access to a shared kitchen. Free coffee and tea are available all day. Numerous restaurants offer world ethnic cuisines and local farm-to-table options. Shanti, serving Indian and Bangladeshi dishes, is a 12-minute walk on Dorchester Avenue. Staff members recommend The Banshee, an Irish pub around the corner, to catch sports games over a beer. Molly's Beachside, located on William J Day Blvd, features fish and chips, clam chowder, and lobster rolls, in addition to a variety of ice cream flavors.
